Carlos: Rescuing Joseph is the first priority, I know. Now, let's go home in style!
[That evening, at the Mythology's Captain's quarters]
(a banging on the door, the captain opens)
Captain: Yes? What do you want?
Zenigata: This is Inspector Zenigata of Interpol. I heard that a Carlos Lupin is planning on boarding this ship.
Captain: How come? We don't have any rarities on this ship. Anyway, I thought your case involved Lupin III.
Zenigata: ...
Captain: Now, if you excuse me, I'm going to go back to sleep.
Zenigata: Goodbye, Captain. (walks off)
Captain: (closes door) Phew! (pulls off mask to reveal Carlos)
Carlos: I hope Oyaji's left. My cousin can tolerate his prescence, but not me! Now to find Joseph!
(after searching the entire ship, Carlos ends up in the boiler room)
Wilhelm: Alright, Mr. McDamme, time to meet your fate! Your friend Carlos-
Carlos: Is right on time!
Wilhelm: I see. (aims a pair of gatling guns at Carlos) So what! (fires at Carlos, but Carlos blocks the shots with the Himitsuken)
Wilhelm: Oh COME ON!! TWO FREAKIN' Gatling Guns! I do not care how badass you're supposed to be, it is just not physically possible to deflect ALL those bullets with one skinny sword!!
Carlos: Uh...yeah, I guess you're right. Fine, try it again.
Wilhelm: (shoots at Carlos again. The bullets bounce off his armored T-Shirt) OH GIVE ME A BREAK!!
Carlos: (pulls out MB-1, blasts off wilhelm's chainguns)
Wilhelm: Why you-!
Carlos: Want some, bitch?
Wilhelm: I sure do! Now, (looks at Carlos' PETs) How about a NetBattle? Let's see how long your navis live before they become deleted by PoseidonMan!
Carlos: Well, YamatoMan and Naomi made short work of Gaia and InfernoMan, what makes you think that PoseidonMan isn't like those two?
Wilhelm: ...
Carlos: Just as I thought. Battle Routine Set!
Yamato, Naomi: Execute!
[Battle start!]
Poseidonman: Yah! (smashes panel with trident) Geyser!
Yamatoman: Tornado! (geyser is swept up)
Naomi: ElecMissle! (missle explodes in Tornado)
Yamatoman: Tooohhh! (Tornado is blown towards PoseidonMan)
Poseidonman: (uses his control over the water in the tornado to return it to Yamatoman and Naomi) Nice try!
Yamato, Naomi: AAAGGHH!!!
Poseidonman: The God of the Sea is enraged! Geddon! (ground shatters) AquaUpper3!!! (AquaTowers erupt from every panel.)
Yamato, Naomi: AAAGGHH!!!
Poseidonman: I will finish you myself! (charges Yamatoman with his trident. Yamatoman weakly holds him at bay with his spear.)
Yamatoman: N-Naomi...
Naomi: Uuuh...Recov80! (heals both herself and Yamato)
Yamatoman: Urrgh...back off! (Throws Poseidonman away)
Carlos: More Recovs on the way.
Poseidonman: No amount of damage control can save you from me now. Invis! Geyser Cannon!
Yamato, Naomi: KillerEye x3! (6 KillerEyes fire apon PoseidenMan)
Poseidonman: Graaahhh!!! (spews foam out of his mouth, flies back)
Yamatoman: (walks up to PoseidenMan) Alright, Iwatori(chicken) of the Sea! Where's the Spear of Destiny?
Poseidonman: I, don't, know...
(tall, thin navi crawls out of the shoadows)
Navi: Pathetic.
Operator: And we thought you guys could handle this by yourselves.
Poseidonman: BitMan!
Joe: and his operator, Joe Blackburg!
Carlos: Ah, the infamous 'Five-Fingered Joe' I presume.
Yamatoman: Who?
Carlos: A famous assassin with a spike for his left hand.
Joe: Indeed, World's 2nd. most wanted theif.
Poseidonman: Ugh, help, me...
Bitman: You don't deserve my assistance! (fires electric beam out of his hand)
Poseidonman: You-! (is deleted)
Bitman: Now, it's your turn! (charges arms with electricity)
Naomi: Wood Missle! (green missle explodes on BitMan)
Bitman: Grah! (although hit, is still charging) Seems I'll have to use half my power on you two.
Naomi: LeafSheild! (leaves circle around Naomi)
Yamatoman: ElecBalloon!
Bitman: How stupid do you think I am? Northwind! Thunder Breaker! (is absorbed by the ElecBalloon, but both Yamatoman and Naomi take damage.)
Naomi: Power levels off the scale, WoodStorm! (barrage of green missles rain down on BitMan)
Bitman: Oh, you have a missile for everything, don't you? Bit Cannon! (rapidly fires sparks of electricity to detonate the missiles in the air.) Enough Bits! Have a Byte! (Shoots a much larger sphere of electricity at Naomi)
Naomi: AAH! Now, YamatoMan!
Yamatoman: Hai! GaiaBlade! (Elecballoon is absorbed into the Gaia blade, powering it up) Yooosh! (jumps up) Tooohhh!!! (slices BitMan in half horizontally) How do you like that? It's a little souvenir I picked up from your ally Gaia's remains.
Bitman: Alright, I'll tell you where the Spear is. The Crescent City SJR base.
Yamatoman: What?
Bitman: Yes, the whole thing was under your nose.
Carlos: Impossible.
Bitman: But it is... Ack! (is deleted)
Carlos: ...
[Later, back at the NG's place]
Adrienne: Carlos! I see you're back!
Carlos: ...
Adrienne: ...Carlos?
Carlos: ... (walks to his room)
Adrienne: What's with Carlos?
(Carlos enters from the front door)
Carlos: Well that vacation sure did suck.
Adrienne: Wait, didn't you just walk to your room a minute ago?
Carlos: No.
Moe: Wait, are you really Carlos?
Carlos: Yes! Yes, I am Carlos! Well, if this is so, then I'm going to my room. (walks to his room, opens door)
Carlos: ...!
(the two Carlos' stared at eachother in stunned silence)
