Personality:
Nox loves to keep his mind active in all sorts of ways, from talking
about academic and social issues to just sitting back and taking in
nature. He is always trying to help others, making sure he does all he
can. He is obsessed with understanding every detail and doing
everything right, to the point of stressing out if something goes
wrong. He tends to be ego-centric in conversation, talking about topics
of personal interest and always trying to get his say in a
conversation. As a result of the fighting during the War, he tends to
become a little unstable during periods of extreme stress, yelling in
an angry tone and talking in short, frenzied bursts.
Biography: Oxyde
was born into a nomadic group of Magi while they were settled close to
the New York area. His parents disappeared from his life a little while
after his birth for unknown reasons, instead being raised and educated
by others. About five years ago, he traveled to the city of
Monsteropolis to see the heroic deeds of Wily's former robots for
himself, all while keeping a distance from the action. In the time
after the Los Angeles incident, Oxyde joined the RPD as Nox to prevent
more human loss, and met Jack Vulcan and Makenshi of the Ascendant
Androids. After the battle at Mount Elysium, Oxyde pledged to help
Vulcan reform his team, and he eventually accepted the title of
Stoneman.
Likes: Puzzles, intelligent conversation, reading, nature, classic rock music
Dislikes:
Not being able to voice his opinion, people who whine about everything,
things not going the way he planned, inequity in the treatment of
people, anything he reads about that he perceives as "bad"
Goals: Restore
the Androids to their former glory, help repair the damage caused by
the War, continuously improving his techniques and his ability to use
them effectively and efficiently
Fears:
Not being able to meet goals he sets for himself, not being able to
save innocent people from death, losing control over his powers and
eventually his mind
