TMNT: Metalhead

Here's a funtastic fact: Metalhead and storage shell Don were the first TMNT toys I ever got. I was immediately drawn to Metalhead as he was the first evil turtle I was ever exposed to (saw the TV show featuring him later on). I could only get two action figures so it seemed a good idea to get one hero (they were out of Mike so I picked Don) and one evil figure (there wasn't any of Shredder, so I picked Metalhead).

Metalhead was created by Krang ti have the fighting skills of all the turtles. He analysed their brains to do this. But what pissed me off at the time was that Metalhead really didn't fight like any of them. He didn't have katanas, nunchucks, sais, or a bow, but did have high tech weapons. Andyways, Don reprogrammed him and Metahead became a friend of the turtles. He was never seen or heard from again until Don reprogrammed him into a vaccum cleaner (which made him blow up in all of two seconds). The TMNT are jerks, man.

Metalhead saw MUCH more action as part of the "Turtles in time" video game. Slash was also in there in the SNES version.

This drawing was based off the cartoon model. With some modifications. I had a devil of a time getting his arms to look right and I don't think I even fully succeeded in doing so. Ah, well. Here he is.

So here you have it. The first ever "other" turtle in the TMNT universe. Well ..... he's tied for it anyway. But he's always been more important. Who is the one tied for the coveted place of "first other turtle"? Don't worry, he'll come along soon!
