Sinister Six on Survivor
Day 1: Getting Adjusted

Welcome to Megaman Survivor

Day 1

TEAM OLDIES

TEAM NEWBIES

TEAM CAMPS

Hi, and welcome to the first day of Megaman Survivor. Before we start to see how our teams are doing, let me explain where each team has camped out. Team Oldies have gone out exploring and had located a camp site not to far off in the jungle. It being empty, they claimed it as their own. They found supplies, food, and some water to help them for the dangers ahead.

As for Team Newbies they made their camp down at the crash site where all their technical data and storage utilties are located. Not much left from the crash, they use what they can to survive the dangers that threaten them. Now with them camped out, let's see how they are doing shall we?

TEAMS STATUS REPORTS

As the twisted wreckage of the crash site smolders lazily in the dust on the first "morning" for our contestants, the members of team Newbies survey their surroundings and go their separate ways. All except Egoraptor, who is making sure his manga comic collection is still in one peice.

Ken and Erik are out foraging and an hour later reports back with some black coal, a pair of broken glasses and a well-preserved comic book found buried in the sand. Won't Egoraptor be happy. Chris sneaks Rick a visit, and is later seen emerging from the cargo hold wearing the broken glasses for amuzment. Which Chris has been worrying about Chibi Keba since he was seperated from her. Meanwhile, Ben and Octobomb finish off the last stocking duties and sit back to absorb the sun, unfortunatly Octobomb couldn't take the heat and took off with 2 degree burns. Jonathan is up to his usual joking around while Josh flys around to pass the time.

"It's a sort of excersise mate," says the burly man, wiping his brow. "I don't want to talk about it."

Meanwhile over team Oldies, some of the team seems to have formed a closer-knit group. Tristan has taken over what appears to have been the common room of the settlement and is soon feeling right at home once he's gathered around him the little things that bring him comfort – his pillow, a glass of red, and a tin of crabmeat and box of crackers from the supply store. "They may be years past their best-before date dawg," he says, tucking into his fourth cracker with relish, "but in my line of work I've eaten far worse. So that's Kewl man."

Other members have been running into things, espcially Super Chaos because of his size. The others had to sit him down to keep him from destroying the place. Gauntlet and Andon take stock of the supplies left behind by the former inhabitants, and speculate if something bad could happen to them. Gringo and Jacob explore the wild jungle...cause well, that's where they feel at home. And Chibi Keba finds it entertaining to interupt Jason's beauty sleep. Of course Shadow Blade finds swimming in the nearby pond quite relaxing, while John creates metal objects from things lying around.

CHALLENGE #1: Treasure Hunt

The first Reward Challenge is eagerly anticipated by all. It's a "getting to know your abilities" exercise. The teams assemble at a midway between the two camps, eyeing each other warily across the jungles trees. The host Gary (Iceman) arrives in a hover board, with two treasure maps in hand. He gives each leader (Jason, Cutman for the Oldies) and (Rick, Brightman for the Newbies) a map.

The challenge is to use whatever is in their asreal to locate the treasure using the map which was givin to them. Each treasure located on seperate sides of the island. The first to locate their treasure wins the award.

Jason and Andon argee and immediately get Jacob (Snakeman) to search for the treasure which is a wise idea since his abilities include searching. Jacob right away leads everyone through the brush.

Rick had chosen Egoraptor and Josh to lead the expedition since they both could fly and could see for miles on end. But unfortunatly Josh can't read maps and neither could Egoraptor, so in all by the time they reached the treasure, team Oldies had already made it back to camp with their treasure in hand. Thanks to Jacob's great search capabilies.

Team Oldies cheers in victory. Egoraptor and Josh get into a dispute. Rick cries foul but since it was his decision to throw out disabled map readers. So, his protests are ignored.

Won by: Team Oldies.

Reward: What is in the Treasure Box which is a pair of old, stinky sneakers...
Teams responce: "Quite frankly, They're totally f*ucking useless," Jason says, following his team back to their camp, the ugly sneakers being carried by Gauntlet. Despite his bad mood, there's a sparkle in his eye that his team did win the first challenge and that the other team must vote off one of their members. Andon states: "God works in mysterious ways. I'm sure a use can be found for this footware."

Super Chaos has his eye on the sneakers, too. "I'd like to put it to the others that we extricate the laces from the shoes and make a jump rope," he suggests. "I'm working on my physical appearance as we speak."

THE VOTE OFF

Team Newbies, dejected after losing their first challenge for the day, makes its way to Sinister Six HQ which is held each "evening" in the back of the palace. Gary (Iceman) closes the door to shut out the jungle outside them and pulls out a hat, for the votes, and then he climbs into the pilot's chair to speak. The Newbies take their seats. Even Ben has subsided his Rage to listen. Iceman instructs everyone to cast their vote, one at a time, and return to their seat. They file forward and reverentially stuff their ballots into the hat.

Iceman takes up the hat with great ceremony and pulls out the ballots one at a time, reading out the name written upon each. .

Voted Off: JOSH DOWNEY (CLOUDMAN): With the recent loss thanks to the flyers, everyone was angry at Josh and Egoraptor, but since Egoraptor is a stud, they decided to keep him aboard for a while longer. Unfortunatly for our Aussie friend, he got voted out quickly.

Exiting Shot: "Well, bloody hell mate. I'm sorry because I can't read a map. Chrimeny, I'm from down unda for christs sake. What more do you want from me? I guess it's back to feeding my Kangaroo's."
Host Statement: Times can be rough, espcially for those who can't read a map. In a world like this, knowing your way around is imment. Well, now remains 19 contestants. Who will be next to go?

Day 2: Chilling Out
