"Back and we're not going anywhere soon!"

After Megaman 3, the eight Robot Masters Shadowman, Sparkman, Geminiman, Snakeman, Topman, Hardman, Needlegal, and Magnetman decided to become superheroes more out of boredom than anything else. They called their team the Mechanical Maniacs!

A titanic battle with the planet-eating monster Transformer Unicron produced a transwarp explosion which created special Transmetal Armor for the team! With this new armor, the Mechanical Maniacs were more powerful than ever!

After a battle with Xelloss, Extant, and Ultimicia the Mechanical Maniacs were stranded in another dimension. Overcoming the odds and replacing half of the team, the Mechanical Maniacs manage to escape only to have to fight Galvatron and the Decepticons!

Once that was over, the Mechanical Maniacs were ready to take a well deserved rest, but just when they were about to they were arrested for robbery. The Mechanical Maniacs managed to weasel out of the charges, placing the blame on Hexlazer's shoulders. Now their friend Raijin has become the new Snakeman and with the vast majority of their enemies destroyed or captured, the Mechanical Maniacs can finally rest easy inside their base, the Ark......
