The five warriors were gathered
in their common room, with a special guest.
"So, how did that battle in Sao Paulo go ?"
Riff considered his guest before carrying on. "The feelings are
mixed, Henry. With some unexpected help, I fulfilled my part, but the
others didn't have as much luck."
"Splitting us was a bad idea from the beginning, I told you !" Warpman
was the only one sitting down. The wires connected in his back were
refuelling his faulty batteries, making him look like a broken puppet.
"Anyways" continued Riff, "this Astroman guy and I both
went to the head room, and by the time the download was complete, a
RPD Officer showed up. He was looking like some Mad Max reject, to
tell the truth."
"Ah. It was him, then." Karasû opened his kimono to
reveal a profound burn on his shoulder and torso. "Some plasma
sword. He turned it into a bow just after, and turned Lento into a
porcupine."
Henry whistled at the scar before turning back at the Fatal Five's
leader.
"And what did you find exactly in that factory, Riff ?"
"The very reason you're here, Henry." Riff took an item from
his backapck and put it on the table. Everyone's eyes -particularly
Warpman's- opened wide with surprise.
"Brand new batteries from the Special Forces factory. Think you
could adapt that onto Warpy-Head ?"
The bartender-dressed Joe stroked his chin before replying : "Lots
of work, but if we start tomorrow, it'll take a full week."
"Perfect."
Riff had mixed feelings on this plan, now that it was in its process
: there was a reason Warpman wasn't operating at full power. Would
it be too dangerous to go against Wily's orders ?
But they were at war, and they needed every advantage they could take
on the SA.
Let's hope I've made the right choice, then...

Time: 7:00PM
Location: Lyon, France
“So you’re really going to fight for Wily?”
Three figures stood atop of the ICPO Headquarters, the strong wind
forcing two of them to hold their hats.
“What choice do I have? We have to split our forces to ease the
strain on both Cossack and Wily’s forces…besides, we all
hate the RPD here, don’t we?.” The robot, with petals on
his helmet looked at the town of Lyon below him.
“Of course we do.” The man in brown trench coat grumbled
angrily. “As Interpol’s still standing human inspectors,
I hope you can bring some justice for us.”
“Of course, me too.” The teen with a black and silver tuxedo,
along with a black high hat on his head smirked. “After all,
the less thieves after me, the better.”
“Very well then.” The man in brown trench coat took out
his badge and pointed it at the robot. “I. Inspector Noguchi
of ICPO, appoints you, Plantman, Raven Camelot, as direct agent of
ICPO, not subject to the orders of the RPD in any and all ways, this
will apply to the members of Interpol Agents Armored Assassins without
question starting today.”
“…fair enough.” Plantman slowly turned around, taking
out his badge with his right hand. His left hand transforming into
a buster. “Seems like we got company.”
Indeed, three Robot Police Officers, all three with the RPD badge opened
the door in a slam, marching in, speaking with their robotic voices, “ICPO
Agent Plantman, you are subject to installation of Robot Shutdown Code,
assigned to RPD directly, than ordered to hunt down renegades identified
by RPD, former agent Tomahawkman and former agent Knightman, as well
as missing members Centaurgal, Windman, Flam-“
At the very same moment, before the officers can finish with their
robotic speech, a bullet, a razor-sharp feather, and a giant buster
shot flew towards the officers.
Critical shots, the bullet hitting the head, the feather slicing into
the officer’s circuit, and the buster shot decimating the last
officer, melting the alloy armor into fine liquid.
“Tell them Silver Feather did it, again. Inspector…oh,
and my next destination’s Russia, see you then!” The notorious
jewelry thief laughed, clicking a button on his belt, a glider immediately
appeared behind his back, and a swift jump sent him into the night
skies of Lyon.
“Why you little bastard…! I’ll get you even if it
takes me my life to do it!”
The middle-aged Inspector stomped the ground, he was distracted once
again of a precious chance to catch his nemesis once and for all.
“Believe me, Inspector, this cat-and-mice game will never end…” Plantman’s
body slowly disappears, turning into a teleport beam. “See you,
Inspector, don’t let the RPD get you guys.”
“Of course, Plant…” The Inspector held his old,
ragged hat down, turning his back against the RPD officers bursting
from the rooftop door.
“Inspector, what has happened?” The officers looked at
what was once their comrades, then turned their face at Noguchi.
“Nothing, Silver Feather did it again, he was trying to assassinate
me…here’s the word, all Interpol Agents Armored Assassins
have been installed with shutdown act, currently operating in Russia’s
snowfields on pursuit of Silver Feather with Team N lead by me, any
and all appearances outside Russia will be considered false copies
made by filthy Scissor Army and Wily! Pass it to the RPD, snap!” The
Inspector faked a serious face, deep inside, he is once again laughing
at the stupidity robot polices posses.
“Yes sir!” The officers, retrieving the parts of their
fallen comrades, saluted and went back down into the building.
Meanwhile traveling across the mountains. Was the teleporting beam
of Plantman. In his mind, the same message continued to play, his aim,
his goal.
“Decimate the RPD till it will never recover, wipe every last
member of SA off the plane of existence.”

HOW RIGHT ARE YOUR REASONS?

11:24 PM
Saturn looked around to make sure no one was around. He opened up his
communicator and tried to contact the Stardroids.
He waited for someone to respond. Unfortunately, it was Pluto.
"Pluto!" he greeted his teammate, trying to sound as though
everything was all right. "How's th' team doing?"
"WHY DID YOU JOIN WILY?!" Pluto snarled a reply.
Saturn paused for a second and then replied:
"How'd you find out?"
"The other Cossack guys're badmouthin' 'r team," explained
Pluto.
"They don't like how Mars knows Hyper Storm, they think I'm weird
since I talk to computers, and they said you joined Wily ASAP. WHY!?"
"I though' I needed more resources, more money, mo' manpower," Saturn
said in response.
"Could you've thought t' check with us, tell us what you were
thinking first?" Pluto snapped.
Saturn said nothing.
"I told Neptune," he finally spoke. "I told Neptune
to tell th' rest o' y' guys only if I actually went through with it.
But I didn't think of joining Wily at th' time 'n' i kinda went off
without even telling Neptune…"
"Well you should've so we could o' stopped you from going," Pluto
continued. "I lost my freezer-pak in my last mission, but if you
were there, that wouldn't've 'appened!"
"Think 'f it this way!" Saturn shouted back. "What 'f
I WAS there and youre freezer-pak was damaged anyway? From what I've
heard, there'd be less cash for repairs! And—"
"But hold on—" Pluto broke in, but Saturn interrupted
him in return.
"And that means less for everyone! Not just you guys. An' with
our team being 10 out 'f just a few Cossackers, you KNOW what team
they'd wanna kick out for their own sake."
"An' actually, I'm a little worried about ya," Pluto said
in a calmer voice. "You think you can trust Wily?"
"Better question," Saturn replied. "You think Wily can
trust me?" On this ambiguous note, he closed communications with
his team.
It was only the second time he ever thought of intentionally lying.

Saturn tried to find Ringman in the crowd of Wily bots. He knew he
saw Rebel the other day.
"There he is," Saturn muttered to himself before running
over. "Ringman! Could I ask you somethin'?"
"Uhh…?" The gold-clad robot looked over his shoulder
at Saturn.
"C'd ya help me practice with my weapon f'r th' next mission?" Saturn
asked.

"It's always gonna come back t' yer hand," Ringman sighed.
He was supposed to help Saturn practice throwing the Saturn Rings just
outside Wily's fortress.
"I need help with throwing th'm I think," Saturn replied.
"It's all in the wrist," answered Ringman, placing his hand
on Saturn's right arm to direct the brown Stardroid. "Just flick
it 'n' release, it's like a Frisbee, see?"
Saturn launched another Saturn Ring in the air and managed to slice
the tree that was his target.
"Y'know," he spoke up as the ring returned to his hand, "we
got a lot in common."
"Oh…?" Ringman replied, somewhat disinterested.
"Yeah. I mean, we both shoot boomerangs f'r rings, and we're both
the only members of our teams with Wily while th' rest're with Cossack.
Hey, why'd you join up with Wily anyway?"
Ringman looked away. "I don't wanna talk about it."
This and the conversation with Pluto the day before got Saturn wondering:
Were his reasons for separating himself from his team justified? Saturn
wasn't evil; he was just with Wily to defeat General Cutman.
