Darklady is no stranger to the team, as the navi of a previous operator and a veteran of the Gamma incident, she's seen more action then the common Navi. And she wouldn't have it any other way. Even if she had the opportunity to run from, or talk her way out of a fight, she wouldn't take it. Even before she joined the team, she lived in the depths of the Undernet, killing anyone who came her way. She's never shy about killing, and has a very dark sense of humor. She was assigned to Alia after being wounded in combat with the Dark Ghost Navis forcing her to merge with Alia's Normal Navi to stay alive.

Alia spent most her teen years interested in the idea of "Darkchips." A chip with a program so twisted it damaged any navi that used it. Though due to her lack of a college education, she could never get a job in a related feild. She spent most her time studying them independently. To support herself, Alia worked mostly in coffee shops, though always managed to get fired due to her poor people skills. To date, she'd only used "Normal Navi" types rather than custom because her studies took her navis to the "bad" parts of the net, and sometimes involved actually using the chips. When she caught word of dark-based ghost navis attacking other net citizens, she couldn't help but send her Navi in to check out the situation.
