Sinister Six redesigns
Made this a while ago, but it was originally top-secret, for teammate eyes only stuff. By now, the new PC team designs are fully introduced in the series, so it's about time I added the concept work here.

Out of all of these, the only one that completely made the cut was Sharkman, which suits me fine, he's my favourite. I'd envisioned him with that bigass Shark Boomerang long before these new designs were even thought of, so I was excited about including it.

For Bitman I tried to extend his mobster persona a bit by redesigning his helmet a bit to look like a fedora. Other than that, not much interesting going on. Rich had already sculpted another design as a figurine by this point and who am I to argue with an image that's 3-dimensional and touchable?

Waveman looks like an Ariga Airman with a water cooler on his back. His eye-hole is upturned to emphasize his emo attitude. Though for emphasizing emo, it's impossible to beat Rich's design, which goes so far as to make him black and pink. BLACK AND PINK. He is the most ridiculous looking and loathesome Robot Master you'll ever see, it is wonderful.

Oilman, all I could think of was making him more black than red, and turning his torso into an upside-down oil can (wha?) Gauntlet's recently posted design is the one that was ultimately decided on, and it rules. It rules ancient Rome.

Blademan here was sorta used. Rich ended up fusing this design with my next concept since neither one was satisfactory on its own. Gauntlet insisted Blademan needed lotsa spikes, and while I didn't make him quite spiky enough in either concept, Rich added a porcupine ability that can make him as spiky as you could ever want at a moment's notice.

Torchman's armor is directly based on his own dreams and to a different extent, so is the final version, which Rich had already sculpted. I was unsure whether or not to put this Torch in a badass trenchcoat, but G and Rich pointed out it wasn't so badass in a more realistic context. Unless it's made of asbestos, that thing is going to burn constantly while he's wearing it. How embarrassing.

As a bonus, there's also a bunch of other MMPC-related sketches here from farther back. I tend to draw little pics like that on a data sheet for pretty much every video game I play, though I usually don't scan them to show to anybody else. They seemed to fit well with this collection though.

The PC robots are copyright Capcom, Hi Tech Expressions, and Rozner Labs. The S6PC are the property of the Mechanical Maniacs.
