Docman

A piece showcasing the updated design for Doc Robot (Docman) as he's appeared in the Mechanical Maniacs epilogues since his unaccounted resurrection prior to Hardman's Bar.

The new Docman sports a holographic shapeshifting ability similar to Darkman's, and as the additional weapons stored on his back indicates, he has a wider array of emulated abilities than just the MM2 Robot Masters. I originally figured his weapons would be limited to the MM1-3 RMs plus Protoman, though Gauntlet recently suggested the Doc Robot ability is to emulate the powers of ANY Robot Master, provided it's in his memory, and I guess he can only one at a time. Either way, he obviously has more than just the five extra weapons seen stuck to his back there, so they're more or less for show.

When I showed the sketch to the guys in Toronto, one of them (I think it was Hard) said he looked really angry. I guess he does, though the look I was actually going for was pain. See, this character is really messed up inside. The background of this pic is a hint as to why. The details on that will be explored in a later story.
