This is Layout #4

This layout was made mainly to be original. And to be original I used all my original art featuring mostly unknown designs of the MM3 people (which I use for the 'maniacs' Transmetal armour).

Of course the originality of the layout was belied by the fact that this layout was almost completely ripped off from Planet Megaman's layout of the time, which is why I was never completely happy with it. Nevertheless it *is* the very first layout I made myself (nobody helped me with coding or images), so I guess it's forgivable.

This layout also marks my venture into PHP (even though this "memorial page is in SHTML). Now, it's time to understand something. I don't actually know PHP. I have no clue how it works or why. I just ripped the PHP from Planet Megaman and took things away until it stopped working - and then I went a step back. To me, that's how to build an amateur site on the net. Grab the code you need and work with it.

And it was by no means as simple as that. I was halfway through coding the php layout when Planet Megaman was deleted due to a fouled-up server move! I had to restore everything to the new as it was on my HD. Normally not a problem, but now my pages were all untested PHP and it took me all day sitting at the computer figuring out where I went wrong. It was also when I stopped using full links and started using shorthand juuuuuust in case we ended up moving again. Thankfully, it all turned out well in the end.

This was also the time I put up Hardman's (Hadrian's) sprite comics - Mechanical Maniacs Moments. Funny little one-panel strips that he had made allot of, I figured the main page was the best place for them.
