Casting Call

Well I've been meaning to do this for some time now if I could cast the X-Force movie. With a revamp on the way I'd base the movie on the first arc of XF2 storyline. So you can expect the X-Force, the Maverick Hunters along with additions like Double... And now for the casting...

Scott Drier as Magma Dragoon

I bet some of you are going to protest because you couldn't concieve the idea of Ben packing a badass English accent, but he does in my mind. Basically Scott Drier defined the ultimate anti-hero with nothing to lose and has a heart of gold he loves to keep hidden. It can work trust me.

Michael Reisz as Slash Beast

I dunno I he fits as the second in command that is aching to rebel and is the local ladies man. I think the man who voiced Matt in Digimon 01 and 02 can pull it off.

James Earl Jones as Frost Walrus

I cast James Earl Jones (the voice of Darth Vader in the original Star Wars trilogy) on the advice of Rob. His reason being is that James Earl Jones could provide the rasppy, gasppy voice of our lovable Frosty. I dunno but I think it was a better choice than my pick (Lex Lang who played War Greymon and Cyberdramon on Digimon).

Sarina Paris as Web Spider

I asked Classi who she wanted to be voiced by if an X-Force movie was going to be? She responded with this Techno singer I don't know anything about. Go ask Classi why ^_^.

David Spade as Cyber Peacock

Again this is who Rob suggested should play as the X-Force's drug addict. If yopu watch "Just Shoot Me" you can see this guy is a major smartass who needs to be slapped (and so Andrew shall be slapped by Ben). You make the call.

Paul St. Peter as Jet Stingray

He just strikes me as the perfect voice for Jet Stingray. Nuff said'

Neil Kaplan as Storm Owl

Being the guy who voiced Hawkmon, Halsemon and Aquilimon (and Shurimon as shown) would be a no brainer to have as the voice as Storm Owl. Except I'd have to voice with an pissed-off Rock Star slant much like Ozzy Ozbourne for out local Rocker on the X-Force.

Jim Carrey as Split Mushroom

Come on Jim Carrey was born for this role for of mushroomy weirdness, building a rep for having a rubber face Jim could make Split Mushroom an icon in american pop culture. Plus Jim's had experience in roles like this (Ace Ventura, The Mask, Dumb and Dumber).

Richard Epcar as Double

Wow you can tell I'm a Digimon fan already? Richard voiced the most beloved villain in the history of Digimon (Myotismon) that no other can even come close. If anything Double oozes (literally!) evil and won't hesistate to kill you and anyone else that gets in his way.

Edward Norton as X

Like his role as a depressed, self-loathing dizent of our society in "Fight Club", Ed would work well as a maverick hunter that is too hesitant to fight, yet knows to have peace he'll have to fight a war. PSM suggested that Ed should play as Mega Man but methinks he can do a better job as X.

Brad Pitt as Zero

Speaking of "Fight Club" Brad Pitt who starred opposite Edward Norton in that movie can excel at being the top Maverick Hunter that isn't afraid to get his hands dirty for doing what he knows is right.

MacKenzie Westmore as Alia

Her ressemblance to Alia alone is enough for this "Passions" star to nab the role of the Maverick Hunter's top navigator.

George Clooney as Signas

As my sister affectionatley calls "her George". Mr. Clooney can play the commander in charge (Three Kings) and a charismatic and clever leader (Ocean's Eleven [2001]). It's a major no-brainer that "her George" should have this role as the Maverick Hunter's Commander-in-Chief.

Gelen Garing as Gate

Who better to play as Alia's former colleague than MacKenzie Westmores lover in "Passions". Gelen can play stubborn and protective as he has in recent episodes of "Passions".

Brad Garett as Hi Max

Although he's not dumb IRL, Brad Garett plays the big, imposing Robbie on "Everyone Loves Raymond" who better to play the Shaquille O' Neal of Reploids than Mr. Garett?
