Happened to the No X-Force world during Mega Man X5?
Sigma was at work again,
approximately 18 months after the X-Force disappeared. That was the perfect time
to strike against the Maverick Hunters by attacking the space colony Eurasia.
The hunters scrambled quickly once they learned that Eurasia was about to pummel
into the Earth. Needless to say...
They failed despite efforts to
reactivate and rebuild the ancient Enigma Cannon and send a shuttle to crash
into Eurasia. The colony broke into pieces and pummeled the Eurasian Plate
literally destroying Central and Eastern Europe, Scandinavia, The Middle East,
Large parts of Asia and Africa, and minimal damage in Japan and Greenland.
Earth's climate would've radically changed from the nuclear winter if not for
the efforts of the newly-returned X-Force and Nth. Earth's egological system was
repaired...
Sigma's actions cost the world 60%
of the Earthbound population, immediate aid was sent to areas that needed
rebuilding like New London and Mardid and The North-South American Commission
intitated a program to recall the colony's surrounding Earth and various
colony's around Mars and Jupiter back to mother Earth.
The X-Force vacated the
Sky Lagoon and resettled on Earth's only satellite (The Moon, Duh!) and spent
six months building X-Force City, Armory Zero, X-Force Carrier Port and built
eight Rucka Cannons (Enhanced Enigma Cannon-type, named after the novelist/comic
book writer Greg Rucka) and Missile Silos. Because of it's protection and
defense interest the United States has often tried to prusade the X-Force into
signing over their holdings, but to little avail...
(Writer's Note: Because
the X-Force were the first to colonize the moon, they have dominion over
it.)
With the X-Force acting as
"Big Brother" from the moon... villians better beware because they have nowhere
to hide.
