Unconfirmed Treatment Review:
CAPCOM officals were blown away by the screenplay written by the Wachowski
Brothers and Creator Patrick "Ben" Mains and the brothers were working closely
so the story would be close to the old stories Ben wrote nearly a decade
ago.

7/17/04 - Annoucement of X-Force movie

5/17/06 - After 2005's suprise-hit Sinister Six made over $120 million
in it's box office opening really made this movie a top priority for
executives at 20th Century Fox. However when they greenlit this movie they
were hoping this violent counterpart to the Sinister Six would be aimed for
mature audiences.
Even though on the Internet the X-Force doesn't enjoy the same amount of
popularity some teams like the Sinister Six or Mecha Maniacs are but this
team's tales were popular with the teenage and young adult demographics.
An unnamed executive at Fox told us that they are expecting this movie to
open with at least $50 million and gross out at almost $200 million. Well
only time will tell.
8/13/06 - More details came in today about the movie and the offical
website finally has a trailer prepared and I must say that unlike the Sinister
Six's bright, sunny world, the world of the X-Force is a dark, sad place
that really makes the view feel the despair of the reploid working class.
However an old evil is being revived we don't know who but fans are speculating
this maybe be "Omega" (hence the title) and only the X-Force can stop it.
Still only rumors are floating on the internet because this project as been
under tight wraps since it was first announced.
Back to the animation I was blown away by hand-drawn animation that seems
on par with Japanese Animation today in combination with a vivid CGI effect
that will make the audience gasp and the "XXX"-type stunts give the X-Force
an extreme edge over their predcesscors. Also recently the X-Force homepage
took down their old fanfictions from 2000-2003 and put up a contest to ask
the fans which epilouge is the movie similar too. Very shrewd Mr. Mains let's
hope this publicity stunt pays off.
Other than that it's a total media black out very few members of the media
are allowed to enter the studios and no photos were to be taken and were
asked to sign an agreement major parts of the film were not to be revealed
to the public. Ain't it Cool News had revealed some screenshoots and minor
parts of the film and the public is on them like rabid wolves.
It seems that the hype surrounding this movie rivals the hype behind "Lord
of the Rings".
