Welcome to the Mega Man 5 section.

STORY(The Vengeance of Proto Man!): Proto Man has gone bezerk! Destroying half the city was not enough. Now he has snatched Dr. Light and is holding him and the entire city hostage. Speeding to the rescue is Mega Man and his modified Mega Buster, but Proto Man has built eight cybernetic Robot Masters to send Mega Man to the scrap heap.

Feel the weight of the world on your shoulders as you battle Gravity Man. Chip away at the rock-like defenses of Stone Man and bring him crumbling down. Gifted with the power to locally reverse gravity, Gravity Man believes no one can defeat him, human or robot. He even likes to provoke his enemies from time to time. Armed with a plasma weapon, his favorite victims are humans, who he considers to be "great target practice". After shifting gravity repeatedly in a short period of time, Gravity Man can get slightly disoriented.

Originally, Wave Man's body was supposed to be given to Bubble Man, but Dr Wily decided to build a new brain for Wave Man instead, and Bubble Man and Wave Man have been bitter enemies ever since. Wave Man strongly believes the sea is the ultimate habitat for any kind of operation, from study to warfare. He therefore spends most of his time designing underwater stations, dams, etc. He is known among the Robot Masters for having a hatred of humanity, but is highly sensitive. He is armed with a harpoon, and a high-pressure water cannon.

Stone Man is the most unusual robot DR Wily has ever created. He exists as a collection of bricks and stones bound together by a super-gravity module. This gives him the ability to break up and reform himself at will, and it also helps him cast his weapon, the Power Stones, which are stones with reversed gravity attributes. Stone Man is not very intelligent, but his stamina and strength make him a super fighting "machine"(!). Although a robot built by Wily, Stone Man is great friends with Guts Man.

Weapon: Gyro Attack

Aloof and prideful, Gyro Man can usually be found flying around among skyscrapers, especially at night. Yet one should not mistake his "strolls" for self-entertainment, since Gyro Man is an opportunist without equal: He's always looking for things that can give DR Wily any kind of edge. He is armed with helix blades that can be directed by remote control. Gyro Man cannot fly very high, because of stability problems inherent to his design.

Star Man is one paranoid robot. He has even been known to refuse incoming cargo ships that arrive early, just to maximize security. However, he is a true romantic and dreams of sailing to the ends of the universe with his lover. He is armed with the Star Crash, a force field made of accelerated particles. Star Man's space phobia impedes his effectiveness in combat.
MOTTO: "Space is my home, and I don't welcome intruders."

There's nothing Charge Man likes better than to reach maximum speed and to ram into walls, trees... or opponents! And his reinforced body is tough enough to take the biggest blows. He can also spit chunks of coal from his head pipe. DR Wily sometimes uses him to transport cargo on rails, when railroads are available. Charge Man is not too bright, so he can be made to charge right into traps.

The sound of a raging battlefield is music to Napalm Man's ears. He secretly desires to lead all robots and become supreme ruler of Earth, however he is faithfully o his duty to Dr. Wily. Equipped with Napalm Bombs that can be made to explode by remote control, this one-robot war platoon can eliminate any target, large or small, with speed and efficiency. Napalm Man's only weakness is his recklessness.

Originally made to make Wily money, Cystalman is a very mysterious and mystical robot. Although he is a robot, he relies on mysticism and fortune tellers to guide him, however this superstitious side to him causes him great troubles. Crystal Man's weapon is the Crystal Eye, a sphere made of a crystalline rubber alloy that splits in smaller spheres when it hits an obstacle. Crystal Man can use sun light to boost his life energy.
