The
figures looked up. It indeed was a long jump to reach
the top of the mountain. "Well, what do we do now? How
do we get up there?" Said frustrated Tim. "Well, maybe
this ladder here will be of some help, no?" Jason spoke
taking the long wooden item and breaking it into peices.
Gary took a peice of the broken ladder and banged
it against the rocky wall, hoping for a miricle to happen.
"Nope, nothing." He said in disapointment. The characters
sighed. "What do we do now?"

CHAPTER
3
The next morning wasn't any better. Each television
channel was broadcasting all the events that were happening.
It seemed like the world was going into eternal blackness.
Some unnatural, unfamiliar source has the world wrapped
up in darkness. The clouds haven't moved since last
night, and doesn't seem like they were going to budge
at all. An uneasy feeling crept all around the people.
Animals weren't acting normal, and house hold pets left
homes and escaped zoos. Fleeing as if some source was
going to evaporate the planet. Even Robots, Androids,
and Humanoids felt a disturbing force in their power
structure. All in all, something was amiss and it felt
horrible.
The Mechanical Maniacs had decided to take care of a
Robotic uprising in China. A bunch of renegade robots
had went insane, and starting mauling and killing for
no apparent reason. Sinister Six HQ since then had been
quiet and lonely. The Six started missing their company.
The Mechs would return within a few days. With little
source information to go by, The Sinister Six couldn't
really do much with the strange phenomenon. However
they did monitor outside information, and kept close
watch on Super Chaos, who surprisingly didn't cause
any trouble since his break out.
On a patrol watch however Andon ran across Forte-Chan
who seemed to have been disturbed. He approached her
sitting on a bench alone. "Oh heya hun? How's it going?"
She spoke without facing him.
"I'm
a bit worried Classi, I've never seen you down in the
dumps this long before." He sat next to her not sure
what to do to comfort her. He ran his hand through is
spiky blue hair.
"It's
my Mango Tree Andon...it's dying." A tear fell from
her eye. Even though she was an Android, she had a beautiful
face. Mixed up with Green sparkly hair, and her large
eyes shown her true beauty. Normally a face like hers
was always cheery, and full of loving life. The type
to cheer someone else up when they are down. She had
the body armor of Bass, but a lot skinner and flimsier.
More of the female type.
"What?"
Andon spoke aloud even surprising himself. "But how!?
Mango's don't die in the middle of Spring. Things are
just growing back!" Forte-Chan then faced Andon for
the first time, eyes all teary. "All living plants are
dying Andon...Look at the trees and the grass..." She
said tilting her head.
She was right. Andon hit himself not noticing this before.
Trees leaves were dimming with color, but not just the
leaves...but the trunks. They all seemed to be drooping.
Like its very life force is being drained. Most tree
trunks turned a sour brown or a nasty gray...which didn't
look healthy at all. The Grass had nearly turned a pale
orange color. As if it was lacking sunlight.
"It's
the sunlight Andon...without it...plant life will die."
She spoke again. "And that's not all." She pulled out
a bag full of bread pieces. "I come here almost everyday...for
piece and quiet....to feed the pigeons." She said slowly.
She looked around as if trying to find something important
to her. The area was way to quiet. Not a single bird
was chirping.
"The
Pigeons.....they've gone."
Downtown inspections weren't any better as IRA wandered
down to a Liquor store. "I guess a small break of checking
out the town is in order." He said as he clasped his
hands together and went inside. A small rush of bad
air flew past IRA as he entered. The place had a wretched
stench that he'll remember for days. The place was rotting
with drunks. At first glace people who seemed the least
drunk were crying. One man in the far end was shouting
"It's the end of the world...we all are going to die!"
IRA didn't know what to make of it. The people were
so drunk and wasted and were convinced the world was
going to end. One person was tugging on IRA's loose
pants. Begging him to put him out of his misery. IRA
eyeballed every one of the insiders. They looked absolutely
terrible. He thought to himself. 'Is this what I look
like when I'm out. It's quite embarrassing.' IRA turned
his head away in disbelief. "Now's not the time to be
drinking, I have a world to save." And he left the store
without a second thought. Not purchasing a single booze
product. IRA began to wonder if the meteorite infected
everything, including himself. Never has he turned down
a shot of beer.
Does the Meteorite not just affect the climate but its
inhabitants too? IRA turned down liquor? Or maybe I'm
just on something...
At Super Chaos's base a lone figure prowls through the
abandoned fortress, searching for any signs of the big
yellow, one-eyed beast. Jason, so far the only Sinister
Six Member in his armor used his incredible abilities
to jump over the castle's roof top. Jason in his Cutman
armor had unremarkable jumping abilities, much like
the Rest of The Sinister Six. But with his abilities
to attack from not just from the ground, but from the
sky, made him one of the highest jumpers, next to Bombman
himself. Cutman ran and flew through the air like he
could fly. Hoping to see what Super Chaos was up to.
To his instant surprise, the big yellow blob wasn't
no where to be seen. And if Chaos was clever enough,
he would have at least spawned a trap on Cutman. "This
isn't like our most famous adversary...broken out of
Prison for a week, and not a single uprising...has he
turned over a new leaf? But breaking out of jail was
bad as it can come." Jason spoke to a large stone wall
on the roof top when gave up on Super Chaos.
This just wasn't right. Where could he be? It seemed
even Super Chaos was aware of such current events at
the moment. He was probably hiding where The Six couldn't
find him. After several hours of scouting, he contacted
Tim over his communications device and headed back to
HQ. His leave caused a small stir not to far off. A
lone figure with white glowing eyes and a large blackened
body was watching from afar. Huge in size, and measuring
up to nearly 11 feet. Recognizable from the same shape
that appeared from the meteorite, a glance at it would
cause anyone to startle and stare in fear. After Jason's
departure, The big creature left the area as well, leaving
enormous marks in the street in its wake.
Tim closed down his connection at Sinister Six HQ after
talking with Jason. Scott and Jonathon (Clownman) were
close by awaiting any other member responses. Clownman
had once again decided to stay with The Sinister Six
for a while. Hiding out in his circus alone...during
this time of crisis, was too much to bear for the shaken
Clown.
"Any
word from Gary yet?" Clownman asked with curiosity.
He was bundled up in what seemed like a thousand blankets.
Lying on the couch in front of the fireplace, drinking
his hot cappuccino. Scott brought him some Banana nut
bread to munch on. "Here ya go! Enjoy!" Scott happily
hands the food to Jonathan and runs back out into the
kitchen.
Tim let out a small sigh. "Poor kid. He's been drivin'
a lot by cooking to get the mess out of his mind." He
said sitting down on another couch by Clownman.
"We
gotta find someway to keep ourselves occupied. Some
people speculate, this could be the end of the world."
Clown said sipping a glass of Cappuccino.
Tim making careful sure that Clownman doesn't spill
any of it on his expensive blankets commented with.
"I suppose, it's a shame we can't do much but keep extra
alert. Don't think there's much to do with weird cloud
formations, and local plant life dying...scientists
are basically the only hope now. Not crime fighters
like us."
Clown nodded and took another sip from his cup. A small
drop started to seep from the rim and slowly started
to drip from the cup. Tim had immediately caught sight
of it...and eyeballed it slowly. The drip now had seeped
to the side of the cup, running down at a slower pace.
Tim had followed its every movement. Reflection of the
drip inside his beetle-black shades. Clownman being
totally oblivious to what was going on took another
sip from his cup. The drip this time had fallen down
to the bottom edge of the cup. Shaking slowly.
A large sweat drop had grown over Tim's pale brown hair.
The drip shook a little sideways with Clownman taking
another long (and what seemed for eternity for Tim)
sip. Finally Clownman had whipped the bottom edge of
the cup with his hand and continued staring into the
fire.
A sharp ring startled Tim out of his seat. Turning his
attention back to his communicator he flipped the switch
on and to his relief, Gary was on the other line. Dressed
up in his Iceman armor.
"I’ve
just arrived at the Meteorite site. I'll get back with
you if I find anything unusual." Gary spoke...looking
out of breath.
"Alright,
what's the matter?" Tim asked. "Why you so tired?"
"It
was the strangest thing. I saw a large purple like dinosaur
with green on its belly. It was terrible. It said 'give
me a birthday cake...or die!' I didn't know what to
do...so I ran...especially when it sang some I love
you...you love me song...god...it was horrible...."
Gary said huffing and puffing with a slight grin.
"Very
funny. Just call if anything interesting comes up."
Tim said flicking the switch off. The screen turned
black and traveling through the screen link, you see
electric devices and wires connecting the two signals.
Upon exiting the other end you come out and see Iceman's
wrist. Iceman had quickly managed to climb up the long
hill with timed jumps and leaps.
The entire field looked like something had happened
before. Smoke continued to steam from large cracks in
the Earth's surface surrounding the Meteor. Upon closer
investigation, the Meteor itself seemed to be dying
away like everything else on the planet. Iceman had
made sure not to inhale any harmful fumes coming from
the meteor as he examined it closer.
When he touched it however something strange happened.
He saw images of a large beetle-like creature, about
11 feet in height. It seemed to be undergoing some kind
of pain. Fighting off something strange. But its opponent
wasn't in view. Iceman tried to stray for a better sight...mostly
the images were fuzzy. The creature...for whatever it
was, was undergoing a massive battle. From what it seemed
like in its head. Iceman then heard some sort of orange-yellow
electricity eloped the creature yelled an enormous roaring
scream. It was subdued. Its eyes had now turned a solid
white. Glowing with what seemed to be another life.
The large beetle beast's armor had turned darker. And
Paler. As if something had just taken control of it.
Before Iceman can understand anything else...the images
vanished. He was staring back at the meteor. The black
rock seemed to have given off some comforting radiation.
For Iceman felt a sudden feeling for it. As if the meteor
had tried to tell him something. Something very important.
Something bad....but turned to even more evil.
Iceman immediately contacted Tim on his communicator.
Before Tim had picked up, Gary noticed he had his hand
on the Meteor. As if he was saying "thanks" for the
strange information. Iceman hoped The Six and himself
would be able to save it...along with everything else
on the planet. It was then Iceman noticed Wily's Skullker
far off on a cliff. It looked as though it was badley
dented and battered. Like something had attacked it.
Something large. There was no sign of the scientist.
Gary then saw traces of blood and one of Bass' arms
laying out near the machine. This didn't look good either.
And with Jason's squall over no hint of Super Chaos’s
location...Iceman knew this can't get any better.
