TMNT - April Turtle

Continuing with turtles that didn't make the first cut is none other than April O'Neil. That's right, April beat Venus out on the "first female turtle" shtick. She was turned into a mutant turtle by aliens for some reason. It was for only one issue, though. And yeah, unlike Venus who was booberiffic she looked just like the male turtles.

Sadly I don't have the issue she appeared in. It was just after I stopped collecting the Archie series. So I'm not 100% on how that belt looks. The official TMNT site neglected to show April in full. But - look! White bandanas. Archie could get it right, but Saban couldn't.

The pose is kinda "blah", but so's the character. Since I don't have the ish I don't have a good reference. If someone out there sees this and DOES have a good picture of turtle April feel free to e-mail or PM me!
