Under direct command from the Officials, Spider is an unsung hero that has served the country of Netopia for little more than two years of outstanding, if not maverick service. His origins are unknown even to his superiors, and is often believed to be an Auto-Navi by his contemporaries. He is in fact operated by a human, albeit from a distance. Not much is known about his operator, aside from being a brilliant mind with a knack for extreme guile.

Spider himself has a dark and fiery personality. Regardless of his services, he is known to be bitter and cynical. He is further known to have a nihilistic sense of humor that cuts deep. The relationship he shares with his operator is unclear, leaving one to ponder whether he fights based on his own skill, or if he relies on the strength of his operator.

Following his fusion with Metalman, Spider has become a dangerous Navi. Retaining his primary weapon, Anita, he can perform various sword-based attacks in combination with propulsion from his jet engine. With a breaking attribute added to his blade, he can cut through most any armor with direct slashes. Shockwaves and Sonic Booms are otherwise used as projectile attacks, and the occasional jet-powered Rolling Slash can only spell disaster, crushing all terrain. With blitz tactics, he has quickly become a straight-forward fighter.
