Nth

"Wait, did Iceman just steal Dr. Doppler's lab coat?" Essentially yes.

In days gone by when Megaman teams were fairly new Nth was a mysterious shadow made from Dr. Doppler's sprite who rescued and rebuild the X-Force after they were taken apart by Double and was also partially responsible for turning Magma Dragoon into Pyro Da Fox. He later rescued Ben (Magma Dragoon) when Iceman Red destroyed the X-Force timeline (he rescued the other survivors too, but Ben was the focus). But he was always mysterious and shadowy with his origins and motives never explained.

Much later Gary (Iceman) died and I took it upon myself to write up a finale for his series. I realized I could explain all of the Nth stuff by saying Nth was a far-future version of Gary / Iceman who (somehow) obtained time travel powers. In the story he faded away since the timeline had changed too much, erasing the future where he came from. Presumably it came from before the future iceman Red destroyed earlier. Or maybe that future also included Nth? That's the fun thing about time travel - it doesn't have to make sense!

Since the only full body sprite of Nth was Dr. Doppler the overall shape had to match his shoulder pylons and hair. After that I could just use Iceman's "Transmetal" look (which was modelled after Ruby Spears Iceman). The red eyes were a last minute addition since Nth was also represented by a pair of evil looking red eyes. I wasn't going to add them in at first since they don't fit, but glowing red eyes were still used to represent Nth. And red eyes doesn't nessasarily mean evil, right? right! The background was something I made in Stable Diffusion.
