Quint

Next up for this batch of colored art is Box Art Quint! I think he actually looks better than the official Quint. Okay, he also looks like Quickman and Protoman did the fusion dance, but still. I think the gold accents and white as a contrasting color work a lot better than green on green.

The background itself was made in Stable Diffusion using a few keywords over and over again until it generated something that I was aiming for. The Rockman font was made by Zdagger67.

When the whole unpleasantness with the teams scene splitting happened the shared universe aspect was over. So I figured I may as well use any character I wanted in the Megaman canon and top of my list was Quint. I always loved the design used for the box and Nintendo Power. Moreover, instead of doing outright crossovers with any given character I'd just copy their personality. For Quint I copied Dr. Who. Kinda works, right? Time traveler. He even regenerates in a way (gets rebuilt). But he's still Quint, so despite looking cool and literally being Megaman he's totally disappointing. This art itself was modeled after a Dr. Who blue ray box set.
