Unless you’re blind or something, you should notice something of a ….. change in the page. After many hours of work, I’ve made a new 8-bit layout for the site! I’ve poured over everything and it should be working smoothly.
So, happy anniversary, everyone! Here’s to another 4 years of Mechanical maniacs mayhem!

Welp, here it is the 4th anniversary of the site! Uh …… well, I WAS gonna premier a spectacular new 8-bit layout, buuuut ……. well, php is tougher than I thought. So, I’m gonna have to rethink things a bit before trying again. Ugh ……. so frustrating.
Anyhoo, the eagerly anticipated conclusion to Geminiman’s epilogue awaits you right here.
I wish I could do a bigger update, but recovering all those lost sprite sheets for Sprites INC kept me busy. In fact ….. I just cobbled this layout apart and then back together TODAY!
So, until another year goes by, we are ….. the Mechanical Maniacs!

Right, so here’s the skinny:
Due to a foul-up on ZU’s server, ALL our files were deleted.
Big problem? Nah. But in the middle of it all I WAS trying to create a new php format and I haven’t got that all straight, so pardon the layout glitches. Also, I gotta go through everything and make sure all of the images work, so look out for broken links. Things should be fixed shortly.

So, here’s the nice, juicy update I promised all of you!
First up is a new epilogue made by Geminiman, Evil Execution, The Evil Eight EXE Part One. That’s right, this is a special two part adventure, so you have even more to look forward to!
Next is more information on the Megaman comic found in Brazil. A fan of the site, Ederson Neander Nogueira dos Santos, was kind enough to provide a summary of the first issue in the series and I have “borrowed” more images from the net, including one ENTIRE issue of the manga which you can now download! I can no longer find the site that had the issue so I suppose this is the only place to check it out now. It’s not too bad, actually, and the main plot has a nice, unique twist to it.

Well, guys …… gotta tell ya, I’ve been taking a break. Not fer nuthin’, but running a popular website is no easy task. And on top of all that people have been submitting to Sprites INC. like mad the last few days (as you may know, I do some work there). If you think accepting forum submissions is an easy gig, lemme set you straight right now. It is not. But, if you wanna see a Gauntlet-style update check out my last post for Sprites INC, I guess.
But not to worry. I got a nice, juicy update planned for sometime real soon. Probably either this week or next week. Real good stuff. Not epilogues or anything. So, look forward to it, true believers!

Yeah, I almost didn’t update this week. But I figured …… “hell, why not? I may as well post one of those epilogues that’s been done for a few months”.
And that’s exactly what I did. Issue #9 – Snakeman is Framed! done by our very own Snakeman!
Also, Lennon made a pretty neat animation that’s now in the Animation section. You know, if you like animated gifs.
Anyways, keep yer eyes peeled for even more updating goodness! Apparently people like those epilogues. I was actually beginning to wonder.

There a few updates this week!
Hardman has made a new game which he’s asked me to upload. It’s “MegaFan: Battle Network”. It’s based off his understanding of BN BEFORE it was released. It’s a two player battle game and it’s pretty fun. Check it out in the Downloads section.
Also, the pirate games page has MASSIVE updates! EVERY page there has been updated! Some games have better pictures. ALOT of all-new pirates have been added!
Meanwhile, if you haven’t already, check out the three new epilogues Ice posted at the S6. I actually finished them off for him, so not only is there S6 style humour, but ‘Maniacs style action!

Yeah, no lie. No update this week. Even we ninjas don’t always get work done. Well, that isn’t completely true. I did add a new affiliate and updated a link in the links section.
But, content yourself with the comic above and the knowledge I am working on stuff.
