Rockman Strategy!

The Rockman Strategy coverage begins! With images and names of the new robot masters of the game! Prepare to be astounded! Marvelled! And even somewhat confused!

The article on the game is going to be worked on allot over the coming weeks, so the information is subject to change as more of the game is revealed. Such is life.

Also, as of today the Megaman 3 Captain N episode is no longer available for download. Sorry, guys, but it was always a limited time offer. With Planet Megaman (actually) back bandwidth once again becomes a concern. I hope everyone who wanted it got it! Perhaps one day I’ll write a summary and review.

Rockman Strategy, Chinese MM Games

More information about Rockman Strategy has been found out! Including an accurate account of the story and notes on game mechanics!

Also, more information about Rockman Golden Empire has been given to me by Tommy Lee. Read about it in the (misnamed) Chinese Megaman Games section.

Chinese Games. Rockman Strategy

A couple sections get some long-overdue attention. Not because I found something new …. but because I just didn’t feel like updating them before!

Rockman Strategy now has the back of the box for those who are curious. Yep, that’s all.

The Chinese Games list is now more organized with a few bigger images as well as some information on Rockman IQ Challenge straight from my buddy Auto!

Cell Phone Games

The cell phone games list sees an update with some new screens of Rockman 1 and many new screens for Phantom of Network as well as the summaries of each chapter that were featured on Planet Megaman’s main page.

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! It’s finally 2005 …… hope your new year went well.

Today’s update doesn’t feature the Unnamed! I need to catch up in writing that …… but it does feature a nice. juicy piece of obscure Rockman info! The ending to Rockboard! That’s right, the ending nobody cared about had finally been translated in it’s entirety! Props goes to IHZ (aka PMM’s Fireman) for the translation.

Cell Phone Games, MM Brazil

This update features allot of nice and rare info!

Firstly, the only copy of the Megaman comic from Brazil I have has finally been translated. Take a bow, Rockman X! Now everyone can read at least one issue of (what has to be) the most obscure piece of Megaman merchandize the I have access to. Saying that, there isn’t much TO read ……. but what IS there is in english.

Also, the cell phone games list has been updated. Capcom has updated it’s site with new pictures (which I have stolen) and has erased many of it’s older ones (and now I have the only copies). There’s also two new games – Rockman Pinball and Rockman EXE Phantom of Network. But I think what’s most exciting is confirmation that Rockman 1 for the cell phones will be ported over. I dunno how common that knowledge is (don’t remember reading it on either top news site) but it’s true. And I add it to my list. To add: the Rockman Jump file I have DOES indeed contain the game. For Nokia phones you need some program to install it, it’s on Nokia’s site apparently.

The Unnamed, Chinese Games, Cell Phone Games, Sprites, Images, MM3 Tiger

“Same Shadow Time” …… yeah, well it didn’t turn out that way. Oh, well. I make up for it in UPDATES. And what big updates we have today.

First off, yet another (short) chapter of The Unnamed is up for reading.

Next, the Chinese Games article in the misc. section has screen shots for Rockman Gold Empire. It’s one of the games Capcom licensed (not a pirate) …. doesn’t make it good.

The Cell phone games have also been updated. I think I might actually have found one for you guys to download and play! Of course the page was in Japanese, so I dunno. Someone wanna try it out and let me know?

There’s some new art in the misc. Image gallery by Kindlewoman and an official picture of Pinbot that I forgot to put up earlier.

Annnnnd there’s been an update in the sprites section! We have some custom sprites of Hardman.EXE by our very own Hardman as well as sprites Auto ripped from one of the Chinese games! Rockman is super deformed and they actually look quite nice, so it’s worth the two seconds it takes to look at them. Both have handy new tanks next to them for easy finding.

Finally, I’ve put up a new and, I’m sure, long awaited article: an article on Megaman 3 for Tiger Handheld Electronics! It was only a matter of time before the Megaman 3 team covered this aspect of Megaman 3 as well. And if you think it’s a straight copy of Joey’s article, you’re mistaken. I now HAVE this game in my possession! Meaning I can write up something original!

Chinese Games, Cell Phone Games

Some new images have been added to the Chinese Games page. Including some scans from the back of the box which means really bad screenshots. Still, the games look interesting.

I’ve also created a brand new article covering cell phone games released only in Japan! Behold such oddities as “Kobun Flies?” and “Rockman Rocket Christmas!” All are located in the miscellaneous section.

New RM Strategy images

I’ve decided to post more images I’ve found from the mystery game Rockman Strategy! They aren’t too groundbreaking, but they are pretty neat. View the entire article here.

As of right now I’ve run out of ‘Maniacs Moments to post on the main page. Not entirely sure what I’ll use to replace them in the next update. Old ‘Maniacs’ Moments? A random image? More ramblings? Or will the whole table just disappear? If you guys wanna showcase a ‘Maniacs Moment of your own, feel free to submit it to me.

Epilogue, more Brazilian comic madness!

So, here’s the nice, juicy update I promised all of you!

First up is a new epilogue made by Geminiman, Evil Execution, The Evil Eight EXE Part One. That’s right, this is a special two part adventure, so you have even more to look forward to!

Next is more information on the Megaman comic found in Brazil. A fan of the site, Ederson Neander Nogueira dos Santos, was kind enough to provide a summary of the first issue in the series and I have “borrowed” more images from the net, including one ENTIRE issue of the manga which you can now download! I can no longer find the site that had the issue so I suppose this is the only place to check it out now. It’s not too bad, actually, and the main plot has a nice, unique twist to it.
